Excellent! I look forward to helping build the town of the RP server.

Shouldn't be too much longer now.

Here's a few shots I took flying around.

That was just the surrounding area on genning a new world. There are a ton of different biomes.

The lake of turds really completes the wasteland image.


MFR makes me think that there's nobody left in the Minecraft world because they all shat themselves to death after the universe's largest mexican buffet.

And this is the server web interface I'm using. This is professional hosting, not a box in a basement. It costs more but there should be very little lag and continuous uptime and I have greater access to alter things on the fly and can admin from anywhere, even on my phone. Heh. CPU was redlining because I was generating a ton of new terrain to stress test it and it ran pretty smoothly.

The 6th image, the one with random scattering of water and land cubes, I'm pretty sure that's an issue with swamp generation in XBXL. You might want to disable it and regen those chunks. I remember something about it from Jaycraft and how it fucks with the world gen.

I think its actually a bog from biomes'o'plenty.

Have you drawn a general map of or decided anything on the theme of the planned town to build?
And what mods are around to pretty things up? I assume that you wont include Redpower halfblocks.

I have not yet made any kind of maps or anything. I've been spending all of my time getting everything working correctly.

As for microblocks, redpower isn't the only mod with microblocks.

The clouds are from Natura. You swim in them.

Yeah, you can walk around in them and won't fall through I believe.

You could collect a bunch (you can break them and collect them) and make a cloudfort.
