Yay, I got my account back!

In other news, I've started doing some heavy mining and I'm running into lots of zombies and skeletons and such in the caves I'm hollowing out. Can anyone recommend a decent weapon for clearing these things out? I'm taking lots of scrapes fending them off with my ruby sword...

My brother, whom is known (or lesser known to the majority here) as ClaySpider, is probably going to join the server some time soon.
Or he may not.. Just wanted to give a heads up in case whitelists are made.

It is probably the area around spawn. When I'm around the village, it takes forever to open chests etc, but at my base it is fine.

Its just the sheer number of mods in the ultimate pack. Not a lot I can do about it. :)

Maybe you could switch over to a lighter type of modpack?
One which concentrates more on a speciffic tech level?
Maybe.. Ampz? Plenty of interesting PvP oppurtunities there. :p
