I'm also for one large island. Forsaken, can you make sure that there is at least one exploration age with all main vanilla biomes? Because, you know, bees?
That shouldn't be a problem.

For now I'm planning:

Dim-1: Nether
Dim0: Overworld - Single Sky Island with nothing else in the world. Main world for building.
Dim1: The End
Dim2: Middle Earth - Multiple biomes, crystals, natural terrain. Mostly for mining and exploration.
Dim3: Underworld - Cave World. Fun megaprojects, underground bases, etc. Also for mining, but no quarries/automated mining. Just cave diving, etc.
Dim7: Twilight Forest

I'll probably add a few other things on as we go.

Well, I've got my mind firmly set on a skylands megacity megaproject, and I'd very much appreciate it if, well, everyone would want to contribute.
Skycity 2.0! :D

Also, does anyone know if Redpower2 frames still crash clients in MP?
I know they lead to crashyfuntimes with the previous version of RP2, but I haven't tried in the current version.

Let's do it.

Sky city is coming back, bitches.

Oh, and Forsaken, could there be any way to add a huge ocean under the island instead of void?

I'd rather not. I don't know how I'd do that, and If I could you'd have an ocean with clouds in it and void under it. The bottom of the sky island is at the void level, so if you fell in water you'd have maybe a single tile to swim about in before falling into void and dying.

Make sure the middle earth dimension have biomes which are big enough to be interesting.

Please see above about how I'm NOT DONE YET. :P

If I can get it in and stable, its going IN. The exception is duplicated cheaper functionality, or negative effects on balance. Like I'm no longer putting obsidian pressure plates in because you can get a similar function out of the new pressure plate from thaumcraft.

I am probably going to skip Equivalent Exchange though, since it is a stunted mod with only one feature currently and I feel its not terribly balanced. Possibly gravity gun/portal gun too.

Portal gun would be pretty awesome, considering the kind of worlds we are using.

Then you might want to get rid of Metallurgys ores which already exists in Thaumcraft. (Such as silver and copper).

Here's a question: You portal gun a frameship and it moves, what happens?
It should move the portal blocks if they're in the correct place. I know direwolf had a portal spawner on his tunnel bore, so its possible.

I'm going to do my best to keep everything to ONE type of ore this time. Thaumcraft doesn't add any ores to worldgen except its shards/amber/etc though, so not sure what you mean.

I tried it in SSP, and it works perfectly, even if you shift the exit portal.
