I entered the nether portal in the mage tower, then the game somehow crashed.
Now I cannot log in anymore.

Dammit, I'm borked. I tried to get to the nether on the Magic Server and as soon as I arrived there I crashed. And now whenever I try to log on the server I instantly crash. That's sad.

One should probably pay attention to things such as this

This looks fun - I've only recently started to explore various Minecraft mods (I used to play vanilla, got bored, and then didn't play for ages ), so I might join in and have a look around if I can get MultiMC and the various mods from the OP working. 

Edit: sounds like the magic server is the popular one - given I've no experience with any of the magic-related mods, this could be interesting! 

Edit 2: hmm, the Dropbox link for the magic client isn't working (or rather, links to a missing file).  Tech server client link is fine.  Have I missed a post with an updated link somewhere?  Digging back through the thread but can't see a different one.

Would it be possible to host a webpage allongside the MC server, with a button that you can press requesting a restart, that restarts the server if there are more than X unique clicks in a 10-minute period?

Possible, yes. Rather complicated though, and I don't have the expertise to set up something like that. I've been looking into a solution which should be able to restart the servers if they error out though. Will research it more this weekend.

Complicated you say? I can fix that up for you people i think. Would be an interesting thing to do atleast.
Kinda like a mod for MC that lets you go on some webpage and click on shit.

I don't know too. But the first time I met the instant crash bug it was also because of nether stuff. Maybe I missed something during the install.
