Keep it! The arena already has a red sky and black clouds. As long as we're careful about where mobs can spawn, this can add a lot of excitement to the arena. Because now, it's an arena, but also an oldschool gladiator pit - you have to face the savage beasts as well!
Also, I've decided I'm going to exploit bee science to the fullest. I've been looking over genetics and how things work, and I've determined three things. 1: You can get purebred bees to self-reproduce endlessly via pipes, which is good for producing a certain item like keeping a stock of honeycombs, but really I learned that from youtube. 2: With enough cross-breeding and patient, it should be possible to mix any given set of traits for any given species. For instance, if you want water bees to have the nocturnal trait of modest (desert) bees, then if you get a water queen, a desert queen, and enough drones of each, you can make a third queen share traits as you desire. Only limited by your patience and persistence. 3: It should be entirely possible to duplicate bees. Apparently, any princess will mate with any drone, and genetics dictates the punnet squares. Because of this, if you take a desert (modest) princess, and you keep throwing embittered (nether) drones at it, you'll eventually strain out all the desert traits and be left with a purebred embittered princess. This process can also be automated.
End result? I want to get bees which produce iron, live for ages, work incredibly quickly, and set anything nearby them on fire, as well as surviving in the nether, and working in the rain, at night, in a cave.
