On what folder i unpack the mods:

Compact Solars
For The Trees

I got em now in Forsaken pack/mods folder.
Obviously that aint working.

Place the contents of the zips into the minecraft.jar file (which is really just a zip file in disguise). You may need a program like 7-Zip/Winrar to do that. On windows minecraft.jar is in "%appdata%" (just put that in explorer address bar, percents and all, and you will find the .minecraft folder. In that the bin folder. minecraft.jar is in there). Make sure to delete the folder META-INF located in minecraft.jar file

Does anybody actually play on the TFC server? The only person I've seen on it is KalSirian despite trying a couple of times throughout the past two days.

We can both log in now and attempt to make the beginnings of a base somewhere near spawn.

I've tried twice, but died because of skeleton while low on health and secondly of stealth creeper while knapping.

I'm going legit. No more icky things from me.

I thought I spied some ore through a world hole. I dug straight down to it. Nope, cave. I was killed by the mobs.

I go back with a bucket of water and try to fall down slowly. I had quite a bit of stuff on me that I wanted to get back, namely some rare zombie drops. Nope, I hit the ground too hard despite being in water.

I place ladders below myself in an attempt to get down without killing myself. Nope, Minecraft physics makes me place ladders on alternating sides of the shaft, leading to my third and final demise.

Probably a lot of that is from creepers. :D

They're deadly when all you have is stone tools.
