I must say that this thread hasn't turned out to be nearly as much of a shitstorm as I was expecting. Prolly 'cuz OP seems to have actually quit for realsies like he said (never thought I'd see the day :V), thus preventing the typical Guy says mean thing >> Peoples get defensive, lash out >> Guy gets defensive, lashes out harder feedback loop.

You sounded like a fanboy dork with delusions of grandeur.  Not really conducive to civilized discourse about the strengths and weaknesses of the game, and it's not as if you need to try to scare off somebody who's already taking his ball and going home.
