I think that's it as far as fruit goes, the rest is edible but if presented with a choice I will pounce a banana like a hungry monkey pounces a banana (plus it's the fruit that goes best with chocolate, and that's like a +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++)

My favorite fruit is corn. Corn is totally a fruit now.

Personally, I love various citrus fruits, but if I had to pick just one, it would be the (non-citrus) pineapple. Cherry is also pretty good.
I am also unable to eat grapefruit because of one of a suprising number of drug interactions.

Everyone who says Oranges is just... I feel sorry for you, really. Are you not aware that Ugli Fruit exist, and they they are strictly superior oranges? Their taste is stronger and more lasting, and there skin falls off with a single glance, they are usually twice the size of an orange and half the price... why would you ever choose an orange over an Ugli Fruit?

(Also, Corn is in fact a fruit and not a grain, that's just crazy. Of course grains are also fruits to, so... but I assume we're sticking to the juice fruits here, so corn and tomatoes would be included, but wheat grains, nuts, and bean pods would not. Unless someone has some particular reason corn should be a fruit?)

Corn is amazing fresh and raw... but not my favorite.
Coconut has many delicious parts... but better as flavouring then on its own.
Kiwi.... man, I used to be able to eat those things by the bagful. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it, and now I mostly avoid them.

So Banana... oh, bananas. So good on nutella sandwhiches, and in pancakes, and to devour every day at every meal. You are so, so close to being my favorite fruit...

But Eggplant is gonna take it.

The correct answer is of course blueberries, followed by green grapes, apples and japonnica quinces.
Eating lemons makes me feel badass, though, so they deserve a mention.

No... no mention of pears? I don't eat them very often, but I like 'em better than apples, which would otherwise be up there on the list of fruits I consume. Pears are like apples, but better.

loquat is awesome. it has a moral lesson to it too: the uglier ones are the sweetest
despite being a chinese fruit, it's very common in southern europe as well as in asia, while considered a rare or exotic fruit in the rest of the world

Pears are awesome because of their sweetness and how soft and mushy they usually are, a joy to munch on

Also there's that thing people do when they put a bottle on a bud and take the thing off when it grows into a pear, then they pour liquer into it (not sure which exact kind) and you have this slightly pear tasting drink, also you smash the bottle after you're done with it and eat the now awesomely tasting pear
