The Weird Screenshot Thread.
« on: June 30, 2012, 12:39:48 am »

Any and all the pics you've got of odd, unintended or awesome events from games you've played. Bonus points if you can guess what game, and what's happening in the pics other people have posted.

To start off I've held onto this one for awhile...

What you don't see is interesting as well. One Z-level down is the floor of the bridge, which immediately started flooding when I found the bridge.

Hmm, I got a few. Gotta label them with the game names though, because I hate these threads that don't tell you what the games are.

I may or may not have been responsible for this house fire. Uhh, sorry.

Warning: Big screenshots. It is a screenshot thread, so people probably expect their bandwidth to be raped anyway, though.

Dead Island. Weird some of the stuff that you can find when you're not getting chased around by zombies.

Dead Island again. What is this, I don't even.

Strangely enough, that's all I have. Didn't save pictures from my old computer, so whatever I have is on Steam at the moment. Sadness.

Some from my recent Skyrim escapades:

Start of the Dark Brotherhood quests. I just found it funny how a bunch of them were tied to a rigor mortis-like dance position after dying.

I really don't know how this happened. I was done after a ten minute battle with a Fire Dragon (Deadly Dragons mod) in Morthal, and start on my way when I notice this kid just swimming away.

The air swimming glitch is a common problem with the Elder Scrolls. I've seen it in Morrowind and Oblivion. You just added Skyrim to the list.

Oddly, this is present despite all three games employing different engines. I suppose Bethesda's water programmer has a persistent issue.

That's because the creation engine Skyrim runs on is either based on or heavily modified from the Gamebryo 2.0 engine that Oblivion runs on which is obviously based on or a heavily modified version of the Gamebryo engine 1.0 Morrowind uses.
