Today I learned that I wish to live in a Yurt.  Possibly a few Yurts.

Today I learned how to use a floor machine.
Today I learned how persistent people can be with passive aggressive, snide remarks.
Today I learned it is usually better not to comment.

Today I learned that overindulgence and a lack of focus run in the family.

That explains all the candy that I bought a few hours ago.

Yes, I have incredibly poor impulse control sometimes. Especially in regards to junk food, but I need to gain weight anyway.

I learned that if I don't get up on time in a house with six people and two babies, I won't get to shower at the right time. Which leads to me showering RIGHT before work. But at least I got to sleep in finally, I was going crazy.

Dear Princess Celestia,

Today I learned that if I want people to accept me, I can't pretend to be someone I'm not to appease them. If I wear a metaphorical mask to try and be more "acceptable," they'll accept a fake, a fraud, and not me, and the longer I keep it up the more painful it becomes.

Your faithful student, Kaijyuu.

PS: Please strike down with your sun powers anyone who yells "be yourself!" without appending "those who don't like you that way aren't worth your time" and maybe "if you're worried about turning into some kind of asshole by being yourself, that just means you probably aren't an asshole in the first place." Thank you.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Today I learned how to deadlift 105 kg. And on Tuesday I'll try to learn how to lift 110 kg. :)

what kind of bar are you using? If it's straight bar, GODDAMN.

However, if it's hex bar, that's usually easy, unless you use our hex bars :S
things feel like they use goddamn spikes as grips.

Like you, I usually stay around 240. I think my max is something like 270, 280 lbs though.
