Turn 6Mason looked for somthing sturdy to tie the rope to so the loot hungry dogs, wouldn't sail off the cliff, keeping the fact he got second pick secret for now.
Roll to Secure Rope [3]Safety first! The best thing Mason can find to tie his rope to is a large crystal with duller edges than the others. Hopefully this will do.
>Tie self to one end of the rope, then tie the other end to the biggest, sturdiest looking person- probably Bob.
>Then take a running leap over the edge and swing/abseil into the cave, with fork held in teeth in readiness for dramatic effect.
Roll to Rappel [2]Sneebus leaps courageously from the edge, showing no fear as he freefalls through the air, waiting for the secure tightening of the rope. The rope goes taught against the cliff's surface, and there is an audible snap as the rope splits in two on the edge of one of the sharper crystals. Sneebus falls down towards the water before being jolted to an abrupt halt - the rope has been caught on another crystal. Sneebus is now about twenty feet below the entrance of the cave, dangling by his waist, feet in the air.
Search for a safer entrance to the cave. If not possible, tie the rope to a stone and descend anyway.
Roll to Search [1]Thanen searches for a safer entrance to the cave, and, failing to find one, looks to see if there is perhaps an easier way to climb down. His foot slips as he looks over the edge, and falls, managing to catch himself on an extruding crystal several feet down. About halfway down to the entrance, it may be possible for him to leap down into the cave entrance, though such an attempt could easily turn disasterous.
Search for absailable parts of the cliff, as well as walkways or places to climb downwards to the entrance.
If not, he pitches in for the ropework and begins helping the rest.
He also throws the bodies of the goblins out to sea.
Roll to Search [6]After throwing the remaining goblin corpse into the water, Olaf searches the cliff and finds a series of rocky protrusions several yards off to one side which could possibly be climbed with relative ease. Due to the ironic and unjust nature of the universe, he discovers this just as Thanen slips, and long past Sneebus' heroic leap. It seems like it could be easy enough to tie a rope to one of these protrusions and traverse the cliff to the cave's entrance.
Bob drops the goblin corpse and holds Sneebus' rope, making sure his descent is safe. If he's in danger, Bob pulls him back up (shouldn't be hard since he's probably the lightest one here).
Roll to Rescue [2]Upon hearing the snapping sound, Bob pulls up a short, severed piece of rope. The gnome is strangely absent. Those gnomes and their tricks.
