Huh. From what I've been through, they only replace MPs with contractor security when the housing and main facilities are separate. Where I live (Fort Campbell), MPs are still around. Probably because the base is 164 square miles (425 square km).

Not if you're a strict constructionist, wherein you treat the Constitution as sacred text which cannot be altered or interpreted. It's political fundamentalism (unless you need to bend the Constitution to your own ends, in which case "the Founders totally meant that").

An immigrant with a job makes far more money than a college graduate with no job. (Which seems to be the case. Unemployment is highest in the just-out-of-college age group.)

Here's the thing: In the current political climate of the United States? There is no amendment, none whatsoever related to any issue under debate today, that would ever succeed.
