I remember this.  A group of Bay12ers got introduced to it a long time ago.  I hopped on, made a dude, had some fun, commented on a thing or two, got involved in a disturbingly large drama regarding said Bay12ers and which group/what to call the group they should be in, got bored of the "game" and the incredible stupidity of my hero, and left.


The way it works is that, although heroes keep doing whatever it is they're doing even when you're offline, they will get progressively lazier the longer they go without witnessing the presence of their lord.  In addition, spontaneous resurrection is a little harder to come by without divine intervention, and these guys are really quite bad at keeping themselves alive most of the time.

How do you search and join the guilds?

You have to try and get your hero to join the guild. Say something including 'join "guild name" guild', with the quotations around the guild name. You might have to be level 7 or something too.

John Raymond Legrasse had his first duel since his god, Cthulhu (me), arose from the grave after 2 years of hibernation. He defeated an opponent whose level and equipments are far better than his, with the help of his god.

The opponent was 2 months old (vs John's 25 months) but has accomplished far more in kills and temple constructions.
