I've even memorised most of the bbcode, so I can format while quick replying.

If I format, though, I usually use Preview to check for errors.

Full darkling, no quick reply.  Pretty much as close as the old forums as I could get it + avatars and sigimages.

For replying I like having all those buttons available, even if I have most of the BB code already memorized, it's comforting for some reason.  Those buttons aren't all inclusive either though.  A lot of people don't know the acronym tag exists, but sadly as useful as they would be it's not used as much as it should since not all browsers support it.

Using quick reply doesn't mean you can't use regular reply. I don't always need BBcode.

I also am one of the people who use Darkling. It just feels better on my eyes, you know? I really don't like the brighter colours.

I always use quick reply. That way I don't have to wait for a new page to load...
And yeah, the basic BBCode is easy to remember, though I preview it if I'm making a large post.
Also, I have no idea what this thread was originally about. I'd go back and check, but that'd ruin the mystery.

Quick Reply is definitely there. It's just collapsed. Like Darvi said.

Start at the very bottom of the page, in a topic. Work your way up, one line at a time, and you'll find it.
