Help a new person with avatars.

I can't find the correct place for this, so I'm gonna put this here.
How do I get a forum avatar? Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

What, exactly does url mean, and how do I find it. Sorry, I got cursed with a computer class that only teaches typing skills. Which I don't even use.

Find yourself a nice website picture or gif
Go to profile -->modify profile --> forum profile
Put in (copy paste) the link :D

Note that the forum doesn't like certain avatars for some inexplicable reason, so if it doesn't load just try another one.
