Like I said, here's the planning. We are talking about having the Human side to
You are a Kai Queen.
Generally speaking, I aim to start the Human campaign shortly after the first major skirmish. As would be obvious, there is a severe gap in favor of the humans, and starting the Humans now would result in my either needing to skew the dice, or a very short game in which the Humans drop some
Rods from God and splatter the Aliens all over the planet.
I am open to the idea of opening the game up to multiple characters. More of a "Council" divided into different departments, where individual players make overall suggestions, but are on their own discretion as to how the agreed-upon orders are carried out. Possibly, additional players past the starting few will be "advisory members" who, as underlings, can make suggestions, but not vote for them unless they are included by a majority vote to include them as full members.
EDIT:
The Human side is basically doing the following actions every Turn, in this order of priority:
Resource Extraction
Continue Terraforming / Terraforming Studies
Planetary Exploration
Grow Food / Generic Engineering
Robotics
Construct Living and Food Infrastructure
Reproduce
Train Soldiers
Train Scientists
Weapons Research
The Humans are completely unaware of the Kai presence. They know that the Kai exist, and have a healthy fear of them from having killed them with considerable effort at great cost during the mop-up of the Great War that took them out.
The Humans are aware of <Rival Dominant Species> and subject to their Imperial rule. It is a mutually beneficial arrangement, and incredibly corrupt. The Humans are aware of nearly all races. The Humans are galactic mercenaries, cattle salesmen (cows, mostly), and technicians from the backwoods of the Empire; aside from that, their only real value is a single highly industrialized planet with biodiversity - alien tourism. Anything that can be obtained from there can be obtained elsewhere, and limited piracy occurs (most of it Human, and a good deal of it "legal").
Aside from that, I have very little information. There are several Colonies on Mars. Transport between Earth and Mars is roughly 40 to 90 days. The Moon is mostly terraformed and connected by multiple space elevators.
I am... not at all sure how these would interact, but this IS turn-based and the Aliens have the first Turn.
Discuss.
