Nah, im referring to how people in Poland bitch about Poland. Guess every time you ask a guy in Poland about Poland, he says:
"Taxes are too high"
"The roads are full of holes"
"The government sucks"
"Tusk should really quit"
"It sucks to live in Poland"
etc...
But, when Euro 2012 comes, everyone suddenly becomes a patriot and starts to be like "Poland rocks! Yeeeeaaaah!"

I dont like my country.
I don't see why, as an Polish citizien, I'm expected to be a patriotic douchebag.

Poland, probably, was badass, i can really only be proud of polish past, not present though. Now its quite poor and underdeveloped country, it doesnt have glory like it had long ago.

It is not true. We recently discovered bronze which makes much better spear tips than the flint ones. It makes chasing the bears away from our shelters much easier.

Actually that's because an average Pole loves his country a lot, he just feels it would be much better if it was inhabited by only him and the White Eagle.

But yeah, Euro sucks. I don't see any point in cheering for a group of millionaires who just put on some white and red clothes and are suddenly to be treated like an incarnation of the nation's hopes and dreams. Especially when it costs the country a lot and UEFA takes all the profits.

Gantolandon, you must be from the capitol to be able to afford chasing off your bears. The rest of us bait them with our younger siblings so that the remaining family can ambush and overpower these walking kiełbasa fillings.

Oh, by the way, the kiełbasa is but a copy of German würst, just like kiszona kapusta is an appropriated sauerkraut. Not to mention the conspicuously Hungarian bigos. And, of course, with Wałęsa being a Soviet agent, the poor Poles have nothing at all to be proud of, nothing to identify with.

As for the Euro-nuttiness, I blame Mickiewicz. It's that same need for passive-aggressive imaginary martyrdom as the cure for our national inferiority complex, that the guy implanted unto our collective psychological gestalt. And it just won't go away.

Eastern Europe seems to be a real hotbed for racism for some reason. I think it's because most of eastern Europe was taken over by an imperialist country at some point or another, and when a country is taken over by a foreign imperialist, you seem to wind up with the local ethnicities fighting each other.
