After a short trip back to the Station to sell the Pirates ship for scrap you begin your journey to the Warp Gate anew. (+1750Cr, -10 Fuel)

Location: In Neutral Space, Near Corvus (The Sun)
((Its assumed the crew refills the the fuel tanks when needed.))
After deciding to let the crew calm down in whatever way they want at the Station you turn the ship around and head back.
You dock at the shipyard of the station, to make repairs easier.

An Engineer approaches you and asks if you want your ship repaired. (600Cr or 10 Boxes of Supplies and 200Cr Y/N?)
A Hegemony Officer approaches you and gives you 200Cr for killing a known Pirate, and asks you to come back and ask for him any time you destroy a known Pirate. (+200Cr, Job Acquired: Pirate Hunter.)

-Ask a crewman to give you a status update on the supplies our ship currently has.
-Inform the engineer that you will talk with him later once you have a better grasp on the situation.
-Ask around the bars for  mercenary/shipping contracts

Didn't we have a delivery to do?
Due in 3 Weeks, we've got plenty of time.

After asking one of the Marines that stayed with the ship about whats in our Cargo Hold they give you these statistics.

CARGO:
134 Supplies - 35 for Delivery
57 Fuel
4 Cannisters of Concentrated Infernium
1 Dissasembled Rocket Rack
2 Dismantled Flak Cannons - All for Delivery
Credits: 1750

"I'll come back to you later." You tell the Engineer.

What now?

Look around for something that could possibly obfuscate our ship from enemy scans. I would really enjoy some assault tactics.

There are Phase ships - Ships with the ability to create their own pocket dimension where they are undetectable and cannot be hit by any projectiles, though they constantly build up flux and cannot vent while in Phase-Space.

Tech Counter:
Phase Ships = Cutting Edge at the time of collapse
Neutrino Corp = Very High Tech
Tri-Tachion = High Tech
Independents = Midline
Junk Pirates = Slightly Higher than Low Tech
Hegemony/Pirates = Low Tech

Description for the Hound:
"An old but durable hull class that lacks a shield generator, this frigate is sometimes used to ferry cargo instead of for combat duty. A lucky or gifted officer could make his fortune given the chance to captain one."

It would be incredibly rare to even find a Shield Generator; Let alone buy one as even a frigate sized one would be 10,000Cr upwards.

Okeydoke. Let's look for some info on where our pirate friend might hide out and also see if we can't enlist some more marines. When we do come across this pirate base we gotta clean it out somehow. They may have something interesting inside anyway.

Repair our ship.

Prepare to go out for another run when we are fully prepared and have a shiny new coat of paint on her. Also enquire about any new jobs.

We go pirate hunting at dawn.

"There are supplies in the ship, take what you need." You say to the engineer as you hand over a small credit chip (-200Cr, -10 Supplies)
"Oh, and can you give her a new coat of paint while you're repairing her?" "Sure what color do you want?" (Choose a color)

You ask around the station for any jobs or rumors, here is what you found.

A Tri-Tachion Official asks you to assist in escorting any TT Supply Convoys that you come across, he also gives you a code that will mark you as a friend to the Tri-Tachion if you do defend/escort a Convoy.

Annabelle and "The Black Daemon" has been sighted around Corvus III

You find nothing else out, in other news repairs and repainting is done. ((Saves me writing a new post just for your new paint job.))

Graphene black for stealth purposes.

Look for convoys going near Corvus III; if not then set course. If we find a convoy, join it. If we don't, then find the pirate.

((Graphene Black it is.))

You take off from the Station and set a course for Corvus III.

It seems that Corvus III is a staging point of sorts for the pirates. There are many, many Unknown Ships here, most are probably Pirate Vessels.

As you observe the Pirates around the Gas Giant that is Corvus III your sensors detect a fleet breaking off from the large group that is surrounding what looks like a Station.

A Pirate Capital Plunder Fleet has broken off from the swarm and is now headed for you!

Location: In Pirate Controlled Space, Near Corvus III (Gas Giant)
Nearby: Corvus III (Gas Giant), Pirate Capital Plunder Fleet (Intercept course for you.), A Huge swarm of random Pirate Vessels, Pirate Station.

What do? Run the hell away? Attempt to fight?

Put the ship in reverse, shoot at them while doing so, and throw (as close as possible to) a mid-space-flight Rockford turn whilst keeping the machine-gun pointed backwards at them.

Try and get more info on the ship(s) first, though, hopefully without getting killed.

((Whats a death?))

You prepare to retreat from the Pirate Fleet while your ship does an automatic scan of the Incoming Fleets Composition.

As you yell at the crew the screen in front of you flashes "SCAN COMPLETE - RESULTS MAY NOT BE ACCURATE"
Spoiler: Scanned Ships (click to show/hide)

The screen in front of you flashes that you (and they) are well out of effective range for Most weapons.

Throw the ship to full speed and get away from the enemy.
