(nitpick: Talaras tail should probably be a lot longer for her to be able to balance and such.)

Hell if I know.  Pretty humourous suggestion, but utterly useless in the case of roleplaying, if indeed the whole game world was one whole huge ass field of fruit.

Turn 4:

Village: Warning: This is a really big image. Unless you have a large screen you will have to scroll to see it all (I suggest right clicking the image and go 'view image').
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Everyone seems to be doing things in or near the pond, like some sort of crazy pond party, but instead of partying there is just work.

Two of the villagers dig irrigation channels with the digging implements.

Another villager puts a rock in the small stream up partially dam the water, to stop fish from escaping the pond.

Another villager actually searches in the pond and finds that there isn't really much in it, there are a few tiny fish, which appear to have legs, but that is all he can see.

Another villager plants some seeds around. She plants a bunch of grass seeds near the channels and also plants two seeds from the fruit that was eaten. She plants one seed near the channel and another far away, to compare how they grow.

The tree has nearly been felled, it is very large and will likely provide lots of wood once processed.

One villager investigates the bushes. They have woody stalks covered in thorns and thin green leaves.

The trap has been sprung! The villager decides to name the chicks Jubjubs after the sound they make when trapped in a duffle bag.

The last two villagers continue with their stick designs, they add a crummy fence onto their crummy house!

Our heros decide to turn left. And after passing through hallways and stairs that led deeper into this mountain they enter a room.
There is a large tattered rug on the floor and a desk with some items on it. They both are awarded 1xp for their discovery.

and the symbol on the wall.

-- (up above)
We need to work out how to build better/more tools.
Once that tree falls we should split it into planks, boards, poles, and other shapes needed for the house, and fence which the 2 villagers have spent the last few (arbitrary time units) designing.

Do we need to live up here, or can we set up "down below" ?

Turn 5:

Village: Warning: This is a really big image. Unless you have a large screen you will have to scroll to see it all (I suggest right clicking the image and go 'view image').
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Without Jobs some of the villagers admire the captured Jubjub while the settler who captured it regails them with the tale of her brilliant and cunning plan to catch the creature.

The two villagers who were drawing the house, upon learning that it might actually be built decide to mark out an area for it and think about what it would take to build. They decide it will take some amount of lumber.

With the tree felled the villager begins to strip the branches while another villager looks on.

Down Below:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Down below Ryan and Talara check out the items on the table as well as the rest of the room. The rug is old and it looks like it used to be a regal shade of red with golden trim. There is a symbol on the back wall which neither of them recognise. The symbol is also present on the stone slab where the items are. The two items resemble a chalk stick and a glowing crystal embedded into a rock.

Talara recognises the glowing crystal as a Detect Stone.

It glows when magical items or when raw mana* is nearby.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
The crystal is glowing very brightly (enough to illuminate the room) so there must be a magical item nearby, and after playing with the chalk Ryan notices that the chalk is not just and chalk, it is...

It apparently never wears away. And as a bonus it writes in white and black.

Talara will acquire the Magic Chalk and Detect Stone. She will eventually write on the walls Magical GlyphsRunic Graffiti with the Magic Chalk, which is fake and does absolutely nothing might induce magical effects on creatures who accidentally touch that.

Probably.

In any case, she probably (and most likely) doesn't know how to draw Magical GlyphsRunic Graffiti, so it's absolutely useless as of now.

Also, whether glyphs actually exist, or they're just the creation of lousy authors is anyone's guess.

All villagers should get together in a spurge of fraternal work and fell another three while branching, splitting and generally make the first one into useful shapes.

2 villagers should go and examine the bridge; look at the rope and planks, and learn engineering.

2 villages should use some of the branches to build a ladder; who knows, it may be useful to either climb trees, or go down somewhere in the mysterious stairs

we have an axe and a saw, so 2  villages  can work on the cutting trees into planks

2 villages should work on starting to assemble planks into a frame for a house

the 2 villages working on the house should contine

someone should try to build more tools, with 10 people, and 1 of each, we aren't going to get anywhere quickly.
(we should use some of those stones lying around)

and finally someone should gather grass and practice weaving it, because we are going to need a roof for the new house, and something suitable for holding JubJubs.

Talara should take the magic chalk back to the village for now ... (or atleast away from the detect stone, which Ryan should hold; so that we can tell if there is anything else magical around here.)

Hand-feed the captured jubjub.

Drink the water.

Pool Party! Manufacture additional peasants.

Strap the magic detector to your head and use it as a mining lamp.

As the chalk never wears away, eat it for a perpetual food source.

Think of ways to siphon the mana out of the merchant's blimp should they ever return.
