We Madmen are very ingenious.  Sometimes it just takes just a little less sanity to pull off something completely awesome.

((Wrong thread, much?))

"Well, you're all busy so..

"Axel, could you find more of those thread-like things? I'll be searching for branches or wood to make a shelter."

Search for haul-able wood.

Ansontan, once again, falls prey to timezones. I suggest you post a temporary action along with your initial dialogue. I'll give you one free action for the next turn, if you so choose to use it(basically, you get to do 30 minutes worth of actions).

I have also decided to forgo the camera view for the most part, and go with traditional turn representation.

Pauly stashes his stick somewhere safe before returning to the group.
"Hey guys, there's a good amount of wood that-a-way I couldn't carry back here.  'S where I got this kindling.  Watch out for vines."
He then spends a few minutes looking around the immediate area, searching for interesting or potentially useful flora, like giant leaves or carnivorous flowers.  Being careful not to touch anything.

"We can't camp out...in the open, can we? I don't like the feel of these things. As if the plants are sentient." Ferren looked at Pauly before heading in the direction he pointed out. "I'll get em, and probably look for anything else."

Get wood from the helping directive hand of Pauly, and also try to look for some stones.

"Huh. Well... At least they don't move anywhere."

Head back out of the forest and go look for more of that Whippersnap stuff.

((Damn time zones.))
"Go. I'll cover you."

Follow Ferren, making sure he is not in danger before gathering wood as well, following Pauly's directions.

John stares at where the fruit had disapeared, obviously something akin to a venus fly trap, he would be forced to impovise.

Find a Stick and a sharp rock and make a primitive stabbing weapon.

(I said interesting or useful.  A man-eating flower would sure be interesting!)
Pauly grabs the longest stick he can find and pokes the mushroom a few times.  If it doesn't do anything, he picks it, otherwise, he reacts as appropriate.  Then he spends the rest of the turn looking for the largest leaves he can find.

"Y'know, I'm not sure about the environment in this forest...Could we move to the Hills? Mosquitos at night and all that.

But if nobody agrees, we need to find flint, or at least some dried material, both for igniting a fire with this stick here and more fuel. Priorities go on the fire and shelter. I'll handle making the fire.

. . .

I just wish this place had bamboo."

Search for dry, root-ish materia,

"I'll take point. Make sure there ain't anything suspicious in the forest."

Climb a tree and overview the surrounding area, making sure the others are safe.
