> We seem to have a minor food problem, or not ?

Anyway, for the APC

>Try arming the APC's again. Use a railgun/ mass driver mechanic to propel the shells. If our electronics are as efficient as I think they are, this should take care of the overheating problem. Add some heatsinks(can function as a balancing weight too), and paint it desert colored. Add a spot for a single repair drone, if possible.

> Begin the construction of the antisat rocket

> Design and build a large laser drill. (Drills holes large enough for all aliens to move through freely, moves rather fast, fusion powered if possible)

Minor means The Soldiers and NavDrones might have to go on a diet if the Flowers don't become active within two days, but You can already see the signs of budding on the plants and expect them to be active tomorrow, barring some unforeseeable massive catastrophe, like another explosive Drone error or bad genetics. Neither situation seems at all possible, given the unspoken policy of "keep explosives securely located away from food source".

I think we should test 40 Human Gas Grenades, most likely they developed to be used against other humans, why not use this and not make our, advanced copy?

Also I suggest to use 59 Human-Sized Recoil-less Low-Caliber Handheld Projectile Weaponry to setup many small one shot traps outside

Why would we waste resources time and possibly our lives setting up inferior human technology? Perhaps it could trick humans to think this is a pirate hide out, but the best way to avoid them is to never be known.

I think we forgot about humans, let's kill their queen to see how their hives react to death of the queen

Or order Stampy to kill the queen to test his loyalty to us

Or order Stampy and the Queen to mate, we should learn about their eggs\larvae

You reach the decision that the Human Queen has outlived her usefulness, and march the Soldiers into the Human Containment Lab. Stampy looks at You, and You suggest that it is time he replaced the Queen. He points at his gun, then at his people. You have some Drones bring in more projectile weapons to arm Stampy's men, then think better of it, escort them outside, and lob some Gas Grenades into the room. It doesn't take long before the Humans start coughing and gagging, then emitting various fluids from their eyes, mouths, and otherwise curl up in the fetal position, incapacitated.

Stampy is making the pleased mouth-noise again and also leaking eye fluids. It clearly isn't the gas. You intensify the vent and scrubbers to clear the gas out, then re-issue weaponry to Stampy's Humans with another suggestion to Stampy that it is time to replace the Queen. He tears the shoulder decorations off the Queen, removes her white beret, then counts down as his humans get into position. He counts down, and there is the sound of sustained gunfire. By the time it finishes, the Queen and her humans are dead or dying. Stampy seems pleased by this, and crudely attaches the shoulder decorations to his own clothing. He looks at You and makes a curious gesture involving his hand touching his brow and standing straight at attention. He does the usual expression of focusing, and You feel gratitude, loyalty, and a lot of amusement. There is some residual hate towards the Humans. Well, it's pretty clear by now that Stampy and his people are loyal to you. You consider letting them free, but then decide that the Humans have perfectly good living chambers and that it might be best to keep them away from the Predator. You send him the information, and leave, suggesting to him that his service was acceptable and deserves rewards.

You work in the Lab on the APC. Given the issues with projectile weaponry delivered by chemicals, You decide to go in a different direction and mount a Rail Cannon upon the vehicle after tinkering with the design more. This time, the design works considerably better - the additional armor and heat sinks rebalance the vehicle, and after applying the Thermoelectric system, You find that the power cycle will not only charge the batteries and fire the APC Railcannon simultaneously, but that You have room to mount more Light EMG's on the sides of the vehicle. The test firing and test-firing-on works well - the improved tread and suspension keep the vehicle upright, and it takes considerably more weapons fire to critically damage the vehicle.

Next, You work on assembling the Anti-Sat rocket. Or, at least, the basics of it, starting with the design. You are aiming for a fire-and-forget style of weapon, and after quickly devising an initial design, You scrap it and begin again, starting from simulations. The idea of a unguided, fast, cheap, and dumb weapon is appealing, but You decide it is far better to be prepared than to rely on chance. You are not even finished with the simulations by the time the Tech Drone finishes the design for a Large Laser Drill, but by the time it is completed with considerable amount of help from the Drones, you have finished the basic simulations and are starting on improving the design.

The sun rises. With it comes a hundred Units of Food, plenty of Royal Jelly (a third of which is promptly fed to the War Princess), and the knowledge that the Automated Flower System has finally managed to become efficient after a rather long period of trial and error, as well as more Pollen than You can shake a pincer at. Many eggs are maturing. There are a lot of Soldier Eggs, and You briefly consider if the War Princess and Your thought process have anything to do with it. You suspect the answer is "most likely" and accept it as a beneficial part of Kai reproduction.

Alright, have our spare drones / tech drones build a few APCS and outfit soldiers with suitable gear. I expect to see a armor block of APCs and platoons of the finest kai warriors we have.

1) Let's spend some jelly and bring the nurse to level 4

2) Make AEPS for Stampy

3) Convert more APCs to armed APCs

So far, the Nurse has been specialized to the development of larvae and large-scale elemental harvesting. It would be very useful to know what sort of adaptation you have in mind, unless it is simply "upgrade everything in general."

I prefer to improve larvae development. We'll have quite a lot soon. And we may go to war, so need someone smart enough to care about new generations, while both queens fighting elsewhere

We should upgrade the Tech Drone and then work on arming more APCs. Have we reverse-engineered the APC so that we can make more of them instead of just retrofitting APCs with weaponry?
