Brain slugs are going to take many generations. The Body could do it in less than three, most likely. You already know what the Drone changed, and presume it is for easier computer and machinery interfacing. Failing that, it can at least grip things and detect a lot of information about parks and the like.
You whisper to Stampy again, suggesting that human biology is of interest to You. Stampy shakes his head "no", then points at his Tech Drone. Both Your and his drones settle down on the computers, quite literally in the case of Ours, and feel the knowledge gradually coming in. Stampy again squints his face and eyes and looks at You. You sense another vague psychic wind emanating from him, but once again cannot understand. You whisper to him that You sensed something. His lips stretch, and You realize he is pleased.
A Soldier picks up one of the Weak Humans and drops him on the ground by the Tech Drone. You suggest to Stampy that the human Tech Drone should perform a physical check-up on the weak Drone. There are more mouth-noises, and You notice the human Tech Drone screwing his face up as though he were trying to Speak. Nothing from him, at all. With an exhalation of air and bounce of his shoulders, the Human Tech Drone begins to prod at the Weak Human, and expresses mouth-noises back to Stampy and his friends, several of whom make large, crude drawings of Human systems according to the Human Tech Drone and Stampy.
Still plenty of the night left.
