Next, you design and create 10 portable-sized versions of the batteries, and improve upon the schematics considerably. You examine the Rifle and seek to improve upon it, integrating the batteries for increased capacity and power and an improved cooling system. The operation is a success, and the weapon's rate of fire and power is improved. The Repair Drone aids a Soldier in the donning of the Suit. You order it outside for a night watch.
Night falls, and We receive 2 Units of SQS-Food and 1 Unit of LQS-Food.
While Digging Drones are wonderful creatures, You feel that digging would proceed faster with firepower, and design a Drone-Sized Laser Cutter - a short-range, high powered tool to assist in digging. You equip a Drone with it and follow it near the Heating Tunnel, and watch the Drone bore more quickly. Returning to the Lab, you create 15 Drone-Sized Laser Cutters, and order the remaining Drones to relay the Cutters to the digging Drones. You estimate that the Pit will be finished by tomorrow at mid-day.
The Soldier is fine.
You note that We have four soldier-sized weapons and five soldiers, and order the Repair Drone to manufacture a Pulse Blaster. While the Drone is slower than you are, it nonetheless succeeds admirably, even with Your occasional interference. You, in the meantime, are busy integrating batteries into the Pulse Blasters, and likewise succeed, creating Pumped Pulse Blasters to accompany the Heavy Pumped Tribarrel Rifle.
The Soldier is beginning to get cold.
Next, You contemplate the nature of the devices created so far, and the Biped device. Clearly, the interfaces are designed to work well with Bipeds. You analyze your software and interfaces, and with the aid of the Navigation Drones who silently man stations in the Lab, We create an improved connection.
