This is my first forum game (participating in or hosting), just a warning if things start going awry.
It's intended as a relaxed forum game that's not intended to take itself seriously, so you shouldn't either.

rules

1. Only join if you think you can stick with it. If something does come up, oh well, it's not a big deal, but dont drop out if you're dissatisfied with something.
2. The GM's word is law. If I want you to be attacked by a rainbow pterodactyl that shoots lazers from it's mouth, then I will.
3. Don't take anything personally. If your helicopter gets shot down by someone's hippopotamus, don't form a grudge against them.
4. your actions need to have relevance. No pulling a plane out of your ass or anything. That doesn't mean things like being kicked to the moon by a buff tiger won't happen.
5. there are no turns. you only need to wait for me to give you the response action. It'll start with your name, then tell you what happens because of your choice. After that, you can go again.

You and many others wake up on a beach. You can't tell, but judging by the boat currently being shish-kebab'd on the rocks, that's how you got here. The island is small, but large enough to accomodate everyone on the beach. In the center of the island is a dense jungle. You pick up some supplies like a knife, axe, and a few other things. You can't decide on what to do next, but you do know escape is your final goal.

Huh... I'm never one to confuse your and you're, so I'm kinda suprised that I did, repeatedly, too. Thanks for the Grammar nazi-ing reminder. Also, it will probably be a few days. Maybe past Monday, but no promises on length.

You climb the rocks, squirming into the boat's hull through a narrow gap between the wood and stone. It's dark inside, but enough light is cast in from the rock puncturing through the top of the deck. The hull is filled with crate of varying sizes. While many are smashed to bits, there are several intact. One reads "food," another "sharp objects," and a third labelled "generic survival equipment for being stranded on an island."

Open the boxes, and look in them.

Look for edible plants while scouting the border of the jungle.

inside the "food" box, there are various assorted meats. They're salted, so they haven't gone bad yet. The "sharp objects" crate holds an array of scissors, needles, large serrated disks, swords, and other things that could hurt a lot. Inside of the "generic survival supplies" bin there are things like backpacks, tents, tinderboxes, and a few signal flares. It looks like whoever packed the boat was a bit paranoid about getting stranded.

Hachnslay
You walk down the beach, looking for some edible plants. After a short walk, you spot a patch of berry bushes. Upon further inspection, the red ones are an unknown type, and probably poisonous. However, there are a few blueberry bushes, and those are easily identifiable as safe.

You walk straight into the jungle, axe in hand. You spot a reasonably small tree, and begin chopping at it's trunk. As the tree shakes, a few brightly colored birds fly from the branches in alarm. After some time of labor, the tree creaks, groans, and falls to the ground with a loud thump. You begin chopping the downed tree into more usable logs.
