I need a save with a vampire and some spider venom

I wish to do some tests regarding the problem of vampire sobriety, and while I believe I've gotten something working in the arena I'd like to test it in a fortress. The process involves tacking a syndrome onto dwarven blood, but since you can't add syndromes post-regen I'll just mess around with an existing one. Barrels of venom are relatively easy to come by, but I haven't gotten a single vampire in all the time I've been playing .34.

The smaller and faster the fortress the better.

You're right, you can add syndromes post-regen.

I added the syndrome to dwarven blood, let a vampire with a 'no booze lately' thought snack on some dwarves, and in due time they got thirsty, drank some alcohol, and lost the 'no booze lately' thought. So I guess it does work in fortress mode.

That was a test done in the Arena, but the different time streams of the 'fortress view' and the 'adventurer view' made testing frustrating. In the end I was satisfied that the modding had worked, but I needed a fortress to do live testing. A poster calle Mimodo gave me a save, but I got distracted with my own fortress until now.

This is excellent!  I even love the implied meaning that a dwarf has so much alcohol in their blood that a vampire drinking from them gets buzzed.

Now to wait for a vampire in one of my forts...

It's more like the tantalising hint of alcohol in dwarven blood giving them a craving for the real thing. Not even the unholy thirst of the cursed unliving is a match for the dwarven desire for delicious booze.
