I just want to have a dwarf named after me so I will have motivation to follow what sounds like a very interesting fortress :)

That's what cages and minecart shotguns are for!  We don't need to control them.  We just need to aim them.

Alright; it looks like the list will be as follows:

1. dhokarena56
2. Splint
3. DarkDorf
4. AustralianWinter
5. LighteningFalcon
6. DrunkenCaveOgre
7. Child of Armok

We will each play three turns over the course of the game. If you don't feel like you can commit to playing a turn in an unspecified number of months, this may not be for you. So now the question is: what sort of embark do we want?

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I really must insist on a place on that list, having declared my interest pretty early on and all.

Oh god, yes! I forgot about you; no malice was intended.
Alright. I'll boot off Child of Armok.

Preferably, I would like to have trees, flux, and multiple metals, but I don't truly care.  Having them makes it easier to do everyday tasks, and not having them gives you that extra challenge.
We also need to decide what mods to use.

I'd like a turn. My forts never get !FUN! and I am careful as hell. I could bring a fort into year 1000 if I didnt get bored I bet.

TL'DR the RNG loves me and never gives me headaches.

If you mean me, not really. I dont really care. Because stuff I make are either so simple its outdated, not dwarfy, or so laggy on the FPS it has to be.

Ohh...fine. I tend to be sort of snooty about grammar when I'm setting up a fort where I want detailed posts.

I will try and start as soon as we get a consensus about the sort of embark we'd like. What sort of embark would we like? I'm pushing for one that's not EEEEEVIL, as with the new raising of the dead and killer rains I would imagine those forts rather hard to keep going for decades on end.

Volcanoes are sometimes nice, but not required. As long as it's not evil, all is cool with me.

Please, not with a waterfall!
I sometimes kill 90% of your dwarf with it by accident.

Same here.  Even thou I've never had the bad forture of finding a waterfall, streams and ponds easily kill off my skilled dwarves.
