I like instrumental music and generally downbeat music, but unfortunately my collection of songs I like is pretty small, also I've stated I've shown it to everyone a bunch already.

I like Two Steps From Hell. For more music like that, you might look into Audiomachine. (However, it's hard to come by discs, as they usually only sell tracks for trailers and movies and whatnot. If you look hard enough, I'm sure you'll like them.)

If you like them for the same reasons I do, you might try some symphonic metal, such as Rhapsody of Fire or Luca Turilli's side band.

Kodo is a pretty famous Taiko group you might like.

For Two Steps From Hell and related, while you don't usually end up with full tracks (mostly medleys of many different tracks), youtube guy Sindrannaras has plenty of music. THeres also DragonstarDT if you run out of playlists from the first guy and he hasn't made another yet.

Have you ever listened to Nujabes? It's kind of a mixture of hip-hop and chillout, with an emphasis on the latter.
The man was responsible for the soundtrack of Samurai Champloo, if that rings some anime-bells.
Very relaxing and generally enjoyable.
