patchwork undead/ limb reatachment
« on: June 17, 2012, 11:19:11 pm »

basically, this involves using the suturing skill to attach bits of zombie to other bits of zombie. (or you could attach dead meat, and reanimate) the strength of the bond would depend on the condition of the flesh, the suturing skill, and the quality of thread. attacked limbs would work as you would think, attached layers would essentially be layers of whatever sewn on, useless except for adding more padding, for the most part. organs would probably be useless for undead, but might be useful for medicine.

A similar process could be used to reatach limbs/organs, or maybe even transplant! (finally, a use for the endless hoards of soapmakers) however, you would be limitted to "fixes" not "enhancements" (so no, you may not give your champ dorf 500 soapmaker arms to hold shields)

so, here's my concept. feel free to discuss and destroy.

I can understand limb reattachment and organ replacement... But why on zombies?

Because you don't need magic/mad science/strange moods (herien referred to as "mood science") to make zombies work when stitched together.
Mood science is planned, in all of its forms.
