How to play adventurer mode as other race than human, elf and dwarf?

same thread as in "gameplay questions" but i moved it here, anyways :

i would love to see my character as an eagle man, but i have no idea how to do it, and people are saying its possible and easy to do :? halp. oh, and i have no idea of modding and stuff, soo explain everything step by step please. (also, i would like to play as anything that can fly, soo it doesnt have to be an eagle man, but eagle man is the coolest  8)  )

i heard it doesnt work. and also, i have no idea what you mean, lol. please explain everything step by step like "open this folder, now this using this, now write that here, and here, save as blah blah"

Okay, got it.


First-


Go to the "raw" folder.

Make a text document and name it entity_eagle


Inside that file, put


entity_eagle

[OBJECT:ENTITY]

[ENTITY:MOUNTAIN]


[ENTITY:EAGLE]
   [INDIV_CONTROLLABLE]
[CREATURE:EAGLE_MAN]
   [TRANSLATION:EAGLE_MAN]
   [ADVENTURE_TIER:4]
   [MAX_STARTING_CIV_NUMBER:0]


Then gen a new world and enjoy.

thank you soo much, cant test it now, cause im on my notebook now, which CANT HANDLE DWARF FORTRESS (lol, im still wondering how is it even possible) but im right off to my other pc which is like half a kilometer away, soo gonna reply you about this working or not soon :3

hmm, i think it doesnt work. i generated 3 worlds for nothing. maybe i saved the eagle entity in wrong folder? hm, i saved it in RAW..

yay, FINALLY got it working, and all i had to do WAS JUST SIMPLY PUT THE FILE INTO OBJECTS FOLDER! aghh, i am soo stupid. THANKS!! :)
