Ok, I'm trying this again, some of you may remember me from my failed attempt of a forum before, and I blame that down to three points.
Number 1, I wasn't very clear on what I wanted to happen in that game.
Number 2, the game was one that didn't really appeal to everyone, mostly me.
Number 3, I made it too complicated yet with too many gaps.

So this time I'm trying a suggestion game,just so we're clear this is the kind of vampire lord that runs around, being awsomely powerful and and ruler of the dead, this is my first attempt at a suggestion game and so I will accept any tips on this.
Oh, and I did not copy this from you are necromancer or anything like that, I got this idea while reading a black library book called The Red Duke, and this game will be set in that kind of fantasy setting, (Warhammer fantasy kind of world, but not a blatant copy and some agustments allowed as you see fit)

OK, now that I've pratteld on about that long enough, who is our Vampire? I'm letting you go haywire under two conditions, number one he is a boy, and number two he is was a human, so go wild. Oh, and the land he lives in is a kind of Feudal system kingdom.

The vampire's name shall be Leopold Esyavich III. He is ten feet tall, speaks only in Pig Latin, and wears a cape. Only a cape. He has pale pink skin, sparkling blue eyes and bright red hair. His favorite pastime is break dancing, and frequently challenges his undead minions to intense dance battles in order to hone his mad skills. He is 1037 years of age.

Oh, and his best friend is his skeletal butler, Nathaniel.

while I appreciat all this, I did say he was Human, which means he was average human height, and I do want it to be a bit seroius, and I probably should have mentoined this before, but you are a newly turned vampire, sorry if this seems like a bit of a downer but thats just me, although I can appreciate craziness, I want evil craziness, not loony craziness. I want a sinister theme

yup, but he has some clothes on and remember, hes only just become a vampire, so no undead minoin or 1037 years old, now, where are you are you a noble or peasant or somthing in between and a brief biography of him please

Ok guys, give me a background, his position in life (is he a noble or a peasant), what the land around him is like, and his age ( and remember that I will be starting this thread on the day after he became a vampire, so it has to be an acceptable age for him), and if anyone else can think of a character that they reckon is better and attracts more votes then i will consider that as well, I'll post back tomorrow so please try to think of a backdrop for the character.

Let's go a step lower and say that he's a serf, living in poverty and squalor.

He lives in a fantasy counterpart Russia/Scandinavia, which is directly south of the fantasy counterpart Rome, which is surrounded on the northeastern side by vast stretches of forestland populated by pseudo-Scotirelandic tribes. To the west is an ocean. The Biran river runs southwest from the mountain range in eastern Rome past the vampire's starting village of Yeugand to the ocean, barring the path southwards except for a single bridge. Yeugand is currently under the control of the tyrannical and avaricious minor baron Godfrey Varanson, son of Varan Wallandson, son of Walland Ugrendson, son of Ugrend Lorfinson, son of King Lorfin the Great. The baron is very proud of his heritage.

The schizophrenic sociopath vampire acts as a deranged, maddened Robin Hood Batman, traveling around killing nobles and helping peasants. But really, he's just terrorizing everyone.

How's that for some setting and characterization?

Good stuff, Araph. Good stuff. Now to flesh out his backstory a little more:

Leopold became a vampire shortly after he began dabbling around with black magic. Using his younger sibling as a blood sacrifice, he summoned an ancient god of darkness. He requested of the deity that he help him find a way to eliminate his abusive parents, and in exchange for his eternal soul, the god granted him the powers of vampirism. Upon returning home, he brutally murdered the both of them as revenge for the horrible life they had given him. With all of his immediate family members dead, he set out on his own, and ever since then...

The schizophrenic sociopath vampire acts as a deranged, maddened Robin Hood Batman, traveling around killing nobles and helping peasants. But really, he's just terrorizing everyone.

That seems like a decent crazy:sinister ratio to me.

Sounds good guys, remember two points, number one you are a vampire who will leadarmies of the undead in a vast rampage across the world and I will start you off just as you became a vampire, so youur parents are still alive, although I can see what will happen to them, I'll post later right now I've got to go to hockey
