Yeah, it is definitely overkill for standard creatures. But it might help against some megabeasts and such.

Anyway, there's no reason they shouldn't stack. Really, as far as I know, them not stacking isn't a thing. You should be able to.

Interesting... Posting to watch.

Two suggestions:
1) Please add a link to "Forum Thread: on your DFFD download page. That's where I find most mods and it's darned frustrating to search for related forum threads (assuming there is one) when they're not linked or even mentioned.
2) Please consider releasing a "raw" or "base" version of your mod which only contains the raw files and modded or custom content like custom creature tiles. Your download is currently over 20 MB, but that could be substantially reduced by leaving out vanilla files that are not changed. (Just mention it needs vanilla 34.11 and instructions to patch yours on top.)
