Check to see if the man is definitely dead. If so, butcher and cook on a fire made from the branches.
Or this, it's a lot quicker.

Find some way of getting a fire going, and keep searching for food. Cook yourself some food if found, then turn the remains of the fire into a pyre to burn the poor seaman. And to keep your camp warm.

Food could be anything. There must be fruit/plants of some sort around, see if you recognise any of them. There'll probably be animals. Maybe there are fish?

Don't go cannibal... bad things happen.

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...
Link for full quote. 'tis mighty funny.

Loot the dead guy.  Walk along the beach looking for a stream.  Finding fresh water should be our number one priority!

Sorry, for a moment there I forgot we were all psychopaths.
Someone who has random urges to make mog juice isn't exactly going to care about the cost effectiveness of obtaining it.

- Search for berries. If you're lucky, you might find grapes, or maybe a mango tree.
- Make a fire and keep yourself warm.
- Come morning, use the axe to chop down small trees for wood, to build a house, and to fuel your fire.

It's a reference to dorf fort.

Partly, it's phrased as such, it's mainly because you can go weeks without food (though not necessarily function) and your simply famished, it's as if you skipped both lunch and breakfast and are having a late dinner.
