While looking for a sharp object, you get pecked in the nose by a malignant bird and bleed to death anticlimatically. But at least you can bring the fight to the obtuse ghost bard now.

You see the Ghost of several pillaged buildings off in yonder direction of inconclusiveness, along with Obtuse Bard to the diagonal-forward of you and Spirit Lute Loot Loote next to the malignant bird next atop Ye Corpse. (which is not dead but turned rather more black after you died) The Obtuse Bard continues to move in awkward to describe directions away from you, emanating an insulting aura in your direction. You grab the Spirit Loote and move towards him slowly, looking for something to pillage.
