Oh my beard! This game lost it's "Screw the next player over" line to "Get screewed by undead fauna and join the legions of dead".

Is it still reclaimable, you think?
Yes. A few military dwarves should be able to clear it since there shouldn't be too many zombies inside (and there are plenty of doors to seal parts of the fort.)
Well, you're right.
I tried this party - 1 novice miner with pick, 6 profesional marksdwarves with quiver and copper crosspow each, and a shitload of copper bolts (about 400).
Progress so far - miner dug stairs down, then got scaried somewhere. One marksdwarf was lost, 5 others successfully infiltrated the fortress. Now cleaning out....

Upd.
Notes to future reclaims:
- Delete all burrows on start and design your own.
- Set forbid-on-death orders.
- Check EVERY door for being locked, and retake all picked doors.

NOTE TO EVERYONE:
From what I can tell we've fallen victim to the 10+ re-claims glitch which causes mass amounts of cavern dwellers (Lizard Men, Bat Men, etc.) to spawn.  There are special DFHack commands that can be used to kill and remove specifically these creatures.  Any FPS issues that may arise are HIGHLY LIKELY to be due to the mass amounts of cavern creatures, and can only be resolved using DFHack. Although the OP states that "hacking and cheating" are not allowed, I think it's more than safe to say we should make an exception in this case. As no one has complained about the FPS as of it yet there may not BE a need to hack-kill the cavern dwellers as of right now.  I simply wanted to go ahead and explain it in case issues arise in the future.

ive gotten in the habit of replacing my chief medical dwarf as soon as he gains any notable skill in diagnosis.
It's really funny watching them do unnecessary surgery because of a wrong diagnosis.
the conditions were bad enough to turn a dwarf who didn't care about anything mad, that's pretty hardcore.

No, it deletes them from the map.  I'll post the commands if needed.

As well as the mass amounts of leather.  Also, it's Antion's turn.

I For some odd reason decided to go for mostly hammer-dwarfs and axe-dwarfs. Hopefully it wont screw me over too harshly. 

Edit: Also everything is a complete mess. Everything is scattered everywhere and there are some freindly beast-men thrown in with the hostile ones.

I'll be sure to update tomorrow right now all i have done is take a few pictures Dorfed MrWillsauce and got ambushed exactly 11 times in a minute and had random fights break out. Also the total count of all other creatures/Body's on map is about 700 or so.
