After playing a few short test games, I'm going with the Teutonic Order. The map of Japan is cool, but the regions are flippin' tiny and without pausing all the time I'd be screwed trying to conduct a war with any sort of accuracy or skill. I won't be there tomorrow due to Father's Day (fishing trip), but I'll be there next weekend.

Well the start is somewhat hard but you get nationalism on all of japan so its easier to conquer. also i think westernising is easier as japan than other countries, plus you get the option to industrialise later, which turns all of japan's trade goods into ridiculously good things.

Ill be giving the ip out in chat - link in first post

Sure, sure, if you can click on Harima within a few months of trying.  :P I've played Japan before in DW. It's a pretty good country, but I'd rather not spend three hours frustrated every week.

I'll switch to Burgundy if that's alright. I did some tries with Denmark, and those naval warfare + real time, I just don't see it going well.

Game ended. Twiggie, you annexed a OPM and are now leading a PU with Thuringia.

I will upload a save for you later so you have a save in case I don't show up.
