My favorite part of the game. I just like to gen worlds and read the legends. Every once in a while I build a fort.

I like Legends too! It's the only mode I can play without dying constantly.

I had an civet fiend posing as some sort of dwarven god of love and healing known as "Dungda".
he loved writing books and waging war with elves/dwarves.
He wrote a autobiography called "The civet fiend adorable" ("the writing has its moments of cleverness yet it is somewhat showy")  and several other books:
"Never underestimate Fima Lyricalflashes" About some Elf general (who died in one battle and didn't leave much of a history).

"Give me the Fresh Stones" (about a rival dorf civ "The writing is as vicious as it can be").

He wrote 9 books total and those are the only books in the world.

Hard to overestimate.
Her killer was a bit more interesting because she survived a fight with a night creature... and became a fisherwoman.
And Fima is her only kill (ONLY KILL not only notable kill).

If Fima is anything like 95% of my epic badass adventure mode peeps, she got one-shotted in the back of the head by Rulak (crossbow skill: dabbling) just as she was about to put a hurtin' on Dungda. He saw his death in her eyes. Punk was just lucky.

I can honestly say I hate interface of in-game legends-mode. It is just too slow and uneffective to use. So I prefer 3rd party programs like Legends Viewer.
Otherwise I think Legends is pure awesomeness. Especially through Legends Viewer.
