I'll be using different dice for different situations, and usually hide the rolls. Higher always means better.
Most of you will actually have a different objective, most that involve going against the law. I'll roll them up, and PM them to you. Therefore it isn't recommended to put too much trust in other players.

Aeric looked at the rest, then nods silently, walking off to a generic area around him.

Protectotron searched the area. Finding no immediate danger, its screen displayed a smiling face. Then, its side panels swung open, freeing its claw-tipped, tentacle like arms, with which it grasped Aeric and the others, trapping them in a bear hug.

"Hey, what the-...

Alright, look. I know you may be happy for this job, but you don't have to be so...affectionate. Artificially affectionate!"

Try to struggle out of this bear hug, and then check if that thing is hostile...maybe?

Protectotron released its friends. Its arms flew back into their casing with a whizz and a clank. Then it watched Aeric for a moment. Then its screen flashed an image of a cup of coffee. A hatch in the center of its body opened up, revealing an espresso machine.

Mr Richardson loaded his spun cannon wearily, preparing to attack all which opposed The Federation^TM

Hank patted the Protectotron on the side after it finally freed him from the bone-crushing hug, bringing a friendly smile to his face as he spoke.
"Hello to you too, Mr. Robot. I'm Hank. How about we work together? I wanted to warm up by beating some drug dealer until he spills his boss's location, but you seem to be damned good at capturing prisoners yourself, what with these long hands of yours.
So, mind following me while I go search for criminals? You grab suspicious-looking people, I ask the questions and provide fire cover when things go bad."

Assemble the Sniper Rifle and strap it over my shoulder.
Listen for distastefully loud hip-hop music; if I hear any, go in the direction it comes from. Distastefully loud hip-hop music seems to attract unsavory types for some reason.
