got grappled by a huge snake and teleported it away with my mage but i still couldn't move so I died because of being swarmed by goblins

I go down way past Level 1000, when you reach 1000 you are greeted by an NPC that asks for the 2$ for you to be able to continue, basicly paying the dev for his work. Personally worth it...

Damn it, I got pretty far with a huntress (got some lucky drops and vendors, love the baker) but then I met my biggest foe in this game... Vortexes/vapours. This one was an ice vortex that hit me for 6 damage each hit, could not itself be hit and followed me everywhere. How the hell do you beat those?

You can hit them, it just takes ALOT of luck...

Ah, well you can fling potions at things for nice effects, too. (I was thinking of Wizard, sorry!)

It can definitely appear before then. The site says 'around 800 ft', and I don't think he can appear before 800 (which is where he showed up for me).

My personal weakness is Possessed Weapons. Tons of hitting power, yet immune to most zaps/spells (rather, they resist most of them). Too much HP, and they kill all my best Witches.

Ahh had an awesome run with a white witch. Got to somewhere around 1000 and met interesting things like a horde of zombies backed up by orcs. Having a spellbook teach me identify was truly awesome. A few things I noticed though.

I am having a much harder time getting a sorceress to work though since I don't start with the godly lightning spell but instead with the useless (atleast for early levels until you have a health pool worth talking about) absorb curse. It is basically a fight against the rng to see if you manage to kill the first few enemies and then pray to armok that you find a useful spell.


EDIT: Quick question, how do I dual wield? I got a nice pair of dwarven shortswords I would like to try it out with but I can't figure out how to actually do it.

Sounds like I have a bug in the grabbing code - teleport should release you.  Will fix tomorrow. Thanks!

That's the best thing about web distribution - updates are fast. Can be tough squeezing the game small enough though (it is about 5MB).
