It is amazing.WazHack is a platformer roguelike. To many people, this may sound like an impossible genre, but it actually works out quite nicely. The game is turn-based, but turns are fractions of seconds. When you move, the enemies move as well. The game is loosely based on Nethack, and features tons of equipment, weapons, potions, wands, scrolls, and spellbooks. It also has beautiful 3D graphics that really add to the experience.
The game is currently in beta testing, and free to play for the first ~800 feet of the dungeon (pretty long, actually. A lot of my games don't get there), at which point Waz jumps out and attacks you if you deny his offer to buy a guild membership for $2. The game is super reasonably priced (I bought it the first time I ran into Waz), and a ton of fun.
In return for purchasing the full version, you unlock a few neat things, in addition to the complete dungeon. You can play
multiplayer (sort of, you all share the same dungeon, and can trade with each other, but you have different instances of monsters and items), you can explore extra dungeon branches, and you can vote on and wish for (no really, you use a Djinn wish to suggest features) new features.
