Sounds threatening *rolls eyes*.

No. Any part you cut off from a "blob" is also a "blob".

Heh, one of those rare cases where you can snatch defeat from the ashes of victory. ;)

It's functionally a mobile giant sponge.  Drop a mountain on it.

Wait, can't you take big chunks out of ash creatures easily with any weapon? I know that works for ones made of fire, water, smoke, air, etc.

Blobs are immortal. Its like trying to kill a giant sponge with your fist. Obsidianize it.

Turn it into a Potash Blob and make it stand on top of your farms, keeping them permanently fertile?

It might be nearly invincible, but as chunks of ash are cut away, wouldn't it lose size and therefore damage potential? which means in the end you'd just have a harmless training dummy    :D

I also just had a human diplomat enter from the surface, hold a meeting, then exit the map via hell.... I guess he thinks he's pretty hardass.

In Brightwater, a blob of WATER almost killed my dwarf in two hits. Its very very harmful. Blobs are worse then clowns almost.

Since when are "blob" and "clown" mutually exclusive?
