Random.org is your friend. There are others to, but this is the one I use. Just enter the numbers(Min roll, max roll) into the screen on the left.

A dx is a dice with x sides. Ie a d6 is your classic cubic dice, while a d20 is one with 20 sides

Links are done like this (Remove *)
[*url= Link here] Words here[/url*]
Pictures are uploaded on a third party side, after which it should provide you with a link.
[img*]http://Link here[/img]
Some sites already at the image tag.

Another usefull thing is the abbrevation tag:
[*abbr=Explanation here]Words here[/abbr]

The site I use the most is imgur.com
I switch between this one, img.ie and tinypic.com depending on which one works for the players. Not all image sites work for everyone.

The same is true for abbrevations, which fail to show for certain people.

Use an image program like Imgur or Img.ie. Put the picture in your picture file, upload it on the image hosting site, use the site to get it into forum format and then post it here.

Go to imgur.com > Upload photo from internet/your computer > On the right side there will be a couple of addresses > Look at addresses > Find the one with BBCode (message boards & forums) above it > Copy EVERYTHING. Even the [IMG]{/IMG] part.> Paste wherever you want it in a post > Click 'Preview' to see if it worked > Repeat if it didn't work.

And there's step by step guide on how to post pictures. You may want to put the picture in a spoiler if it's really big.
