I'd join, but I do believe I have enough gods in several god games to create a pantheon.

Please do NOT apply if you aren't serious about the game.

Don't mean to be a downer here, but...what about you? Are you serious about this? Because honestly I'm getting tired of submitting gods for games that fall apart. There's obviously interest in this kind of thing. That game I linked that started yesterday already has 10 characters and no turns completed.

Please understand...your question works both ways. We've had a huge pile of abandoned games on this very same theme recently. Are you serious about running this?

I'm sure you've heard this before, but I truly am. I've been thinking about the idea for probably about a month, and finally decided to try. I won't lie. The turns might be a smidge slow the next few weeks, as I have exams on their way. But after that, turns will be fairly regular.

Play Thread

Here we are, Time for the first turn. You can do whatever you want, as long as you pick a seasonal activity by the end of your action.

I guess dream domain means things involving illusions, sleep, or semi-ethereal summons?

How many normal spaces can we move a tribe in this first turn?
Are the edges of the map just unexplored, or treated as the edge of the world?

Dreams would mean you would be able to manipulate dreams of your people with a bit more ease, which might allow you to put ideas in their mind or teach them many things.
A normal Green Tile will take 1 season to move 1 hex. SO if you were moving 4 spaces away, It would take 4 turns or a year.
The map edges generally equate to un-explored areas. The north and west portions of the map however, are the edges of the map.

Could I combine healing and dreams in a miracle to make a group of mortals need less sleep, therefore more productive for the duration of the spell?

Does this setting have an equivalent of arcane magic (used by wizards rather than priests, not directly fueled by a particular god)?

How ambitious, self-aware, decisive, or otherwise "alive" are our tribes? If I asked them what they wanted, for instance, would they likely have something specific in mind, give a general answer about food or somesuch, stare blankly and say "whatever you want us to want," or what? Also, how varied and whatever the above is are individuals? Like, if I went down and tried to find an old man or a scheming vizier or something, how would that work?

The villagers imitate real people. They will have individual tastes, talents as well as weaknesses.

And by the way guys, How do you think the game looks :D?
