I think you need to look at the definitions of some of the word you're using.
I am LITERALLY incapable of empathising with somebody dying in a fire, because I have never died in a fire. To empathise you have to share or have shared the feelings of that person. I have never died, I cannot empathise with dying people.
I'm not a psychopath, I have never killed a person.

Are you implying that a "moronic fuckers angry for power" is not part of whatever problem it is that I assume I said I was a part of.

Graknorke is right. He may be able to sympathize, but he is unable to empathize in the sociological sense unless he himself has undergone the process of dying in a fire.

I also said that a desire for social power is a part of nature. I'm not trying to excuse myself.

You can at least try to be socially acceptable whilst striving for power. In this case, nobody said you'd have to burn the orphans down with the orphanage. You could pull the orphans out beforehand and use your new power to buy them a new orphanage, or find some parents for them, or adopt them all yourself, or make them into soup for the homeless. That's all better than just letting them stay in there.
My point: Orphans are useful. My other point: It is totally possible to get power and be awesome at the same time. It just requires more brainpower.

I was talking about this hypothetical situation though, if I had it being an extended planned operation or whatever, then I would probably do something cleverer, but if the offer was given straight up to me, as in "you do this now or you never do" then I reckon the unified brain council would vote in favour of impulsive and reckless action.
Because apparently I can't find a middle ground between never doing things and doing things without thinking about the,.

I can empathize with people dying in a fire.

I've been burned before.  I can extrapolate that experience into a decent approximation of what being on fire would feel like.

I am a mortal being who values his own life.  The experience of dying in this case is the experience of being on fire, which I just covered.  The empathy required for the death component is understanding the fear of death, which I do.

You don't need to have gone though something to empathize with someone going though it (in fact that is sorta the whole point of what empathy is) and you don't need to kill anyone to be a psychopath.

And apparently setting hair on fire is a epidemic. Sorta glad I like to keep my hair very short.

No, you really DO have to have gone through something to empathise with it. Sympathy is not empathy.
And yes, you also do have to kill somebody to be a psychopath. Somebody exhibiting the same symptoms without killing someone would be a sociopath.

Tournament fighting is no exception, but like in football, hair is part of your uniform. If you don't want people to grab it, cut it off.

First off, Psychopathy and Sociopathy are not the same thing. And you have them backwards. Sociopathy is based on actions and Psychopathy is based on more abstract thoughts, like the inability to empathize. Secondly, Empathy is simply the ability to understand the emotions and feelings of others. Not that you have to have gone though such a thing.

So no. Wrong on both counts.
