So apparently, if I am interpreting this correctly, any company, like let's say Betty Crocker™, will be able to sue bake sales on copyright infringements, if it's ever taken to that extreme. What the hell is wrong with these people? Don't they have enough money as it is?

Not exactly. It appears that a company which manufactures their product abroad could sue you if you buy it for them and then sell it to someone else without their consent.

FTFY
FTFY and QFT

:P silly. Although I think its pretty much a business nowadays to create legal loopholes, a thriving business. And I imagine the circular nature of it would cause a downward spiral everywhere.

honestly, I think if I found the people trying to push these laws through, I'd wring their necks.
Death is too good for them. We need to put them through a mortal rendition of Hell. Force feed them the crap they've been giving us (from entertainment (reality TV, and bad movies) to products they've been monopolizing with), to start. And make sure it's an endless loop, and for feed, give them nothing but McDonalds and etc. until their cholesterol and fat content is too high, lipo-suction them, clear their blood enough, and then repeat the cycle. In case any parts fail, we have stem cells to rebuild them and replace them with. Let them heal up a bit, and then continue where we left off. They're not escaping this mortal coil that easily.

They deserve generations of torment concentrated, but not death. Not yet. They must suffer for all their sins. To add salt to the wound, let them watch everyone be free and happy without them every once in awhile, and remind them they have no control over them anymore.

EDIT
Oh, do I wish SCP Foundation truly existed so we could add a few other ways to further punish them. I mean, they have Class-D written all over them.

But they get refreshed (terminated) at the end of every month.

Okay then, we take the mostly safe non-world ending SCPs, and hit them with it. Kinda like that one doll they use for interrogations.

Only sometimes. SOme of the SCPs mention them as just being there as test subjects, or because no one else is eligible.

Or because of Dr. Bright (and SCP-963).
The SCP is the pendant-thing, not the guy who is attempting to catch up to Duncan Idaho for most reincarnations with the same mind.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
