No, I'm not going to do my usual spiel. This game says everything it needs to on its own.

I was sold at about 30 seconds in.

From the Wikipedia page:

"With its passion for running still burns, the Thoroughbred racehorse runs around Tokyo, searching for its old track rivals in hopes of staging one more race[6]"

What a touching and heroic story.  :'(

So...it's like somebody watched 12 Monkeys and said, "Hey let's make a game where you can be one of the animals that's left after we're all dead!" and then it turned into Samurai Showdown 2 with animals.  :o

Also, the "shogun dog" is a Tosa inu, also known as "sumo dogs". They're big, badass and bred for fighting. And champion ones get dressed up like yokozuna.

And finally....a game that answers the burning question, "how many baby chicks does it take to take down a velociraptor?"

Needs more shogun dog, though.
Thought you said "shotgun dog" at first.
I'm not sure which of the two would be more awesome.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.
