I was at Copenhell Saturday, at the Lamb of God concert some prick was constantly headbanging, whipping his giant hair into my face all the time, i think its possible IRL with beard.

Hell guys im never shaving again, im making a HAIR WHIP!

I see how weapons will be handled with the non-lethal fighting (i.e. they will be sheathed or whatever) but what about your armour?

Punching someone in the chest while they're wearing a byrnie or breastplate would be no fun at all. And those gauntlet-clad fists could be considered lethal weapons.

I pretty sure nonlethal weapon attacks would be striking someone with the flat of your blade, or hilt, or something.
But you can already do that(kinda) so I think an option for surrender would be the most appropriate way to implment nonlethal combat.(rather then having a seperate button for nonlethal combat, just allow players to punch or strike with their hilts and knock out/cause pain to a target then have them ask the target to surrender)


If that makes any sense at all....

Hrm. I was mainly referring to the unarmed combat (tavern brawls, fist fights with street thugs, etc.) that were mentioned in one of the devlogs.

Sheathing your weapon was mentioned, and it was implied that drawing your sword (or whatever) could be one of the triggers for AI reactions (e.g. thugs run away / thugs draw their own weapons / thugs call for backup / etc.).

So, would you have to take your bronze mail shirt off before you start brawling with people?
