I'm getting tons of these errors on worldgen and I can't figure out why. I'm using Language Unlocked (gives thousands of new RNG possibilities), a new SYMBOL with some custom-defined words (5 in total) and my custom entity has selected 5 symbols (plus the standard ones for walls, bridges, etc). Also, it's only culling the same symbols that dwarves cull.

The only change to the other races is that they cull my new custom SYMBOL, because I don't want them to use those words (but unfortunately this doesn't stop other creatures/sites using the words, oh well).

Still, with all this expanded language stuff, I'm getting reams of "Impoverished word selector" errors and can't gen a world older than 100 years or so.

Any tips?

I appear to have solved it, though I'm not sure how.

My strongest guess here is that adding new entities puts a strain on worldgen to come up with unique bridge/tunnel/war names. So, I modified some of my symbol selections. Instead of "REMAINING", I changed a couple of those to "ALL" so that theoretically they could be used for the aforementioned purposes. Also, I changed some of my culling from "ALL" to "REMAINING" for the same reason.

This time I managed to gen all the way to Year 300, whereupon DF crashed as it hit the 2GB RAM limit. Must go dig up that little memory hack thing again, if it still works...

I know its a necro but it is related.  What does this error mean?
