Just fought off a siege of over 90 goblins.  40 of those had animal mounts.  There where also 20 Cave Dragons.

WHAT THE @#$ AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THE BODIES!
Last siege it took me 4 "months" to butcher, dump, clean and dispose of the mess.  Otherwise I just have heaps of carcasses everywhere!

Atom smasher.

Or lava.

Be sure to take anything you want, like iron weapons and whatnot.

Personally, I like to leave em where they lie. Rekilling the zombies from time to time seperates the milita dwarves from the immigrants, and I'm pretty sure the caravans give me better prices.

On a more serious note, (d)umping them in a pit and building a ceiling over it stops reanimation, if you don't want to haul them underground for disposal. Hauling them to a wooden trade depot and setting it on fire also works, and is a little more predictable than magming the entire over world, plus free ash.

I don't think he mentioned reanimating corpses, but oh well

and no, you'll just have to clean up the mess like everyone else, though you can dispose of the corpses as with the atomsmasher described earlier, preventing the butchering and meat hauling jobs

in workshop orders, turn off automated butchers if you want that

Do NOT turn off the autobutcher. Even after invader mounts are rotten, they are useful: once they no longer produce miasma, their skeletons will be butchered for bones, skull, horns/hooves and teeth. You don't love anything by atomsmashing the goblin corpses, though if there are cut off arms, those will rot into goblin bones which can be used in moods or bone crafts.

I'm pretty sure OP meant "I have too many bone bolts, prepared meals and crap from the last few sieges, how to simply get rid of everything with the least amount of work possible", which would mean not butchering the animals

Wait for dfhack version .11 and use autodump destroy. I don't consider it cheating, in real life, in most biomes, a year after a battle you would barely even be able to find where the bodies were without a thorough search.

The Goblin Hammerlord's ego has been struck down!

Anyway, my biggest problems relating to sieges and corpses is that all the zombie dwarves that invade and get double-killed get automatically placed into my coffins, leaving no space for my real citizens.  Is this a bug or are dwarves just that respectful of their own dead?

I'd just leave the corpses.  As for bones you can always rampantly decorate objects with them.

While that would work, I have to ask, why even have the 2nd refuse stockpile? Or the channel for that matter. The point of the track is automated quantum stockpiling, yes, but couldn't you just have it dump to the ground on the same level, just next to the track stop? Place either a take only from links refuse stockpile there, or a garbage dump zone (in which case you will end up with dwarves carrying other dumpable stuff there too). Dwarves shouldn't carry stuff away from either. Then build the atomsmasher to smash that square (including any idiot dwarves bringing stuff to the dump).

Not sure if stockpiles can be places in bridge squares, so that would necessitate a 1z-level drop, sure. You could also set a pressure plate on the track (when the minecart arrives back at the filling end of things) to trigger the smasher, if you want, but bridges opening&closing do effect fps too...

This is, in my opinion, the greatest use of minecarts so far (although they're fun for other stuff too): automated quantum stockpiling, which just seems less cheaty than using dumping. :P My next fort, I plan on not clearing away any stone with dump commands, just using some 3-wheelbarrow stone stockpiles that load onto minecarts that dump to quantum stockpiles near the masons/stonecraftsdwarves/mechanics. We'll see how long that decision holds, though.

stockpiles can't be placed on bridges
bridges can't be placed with items or stockpile occupying the site.

So you first need to make the bridge and link it, then the garbage zone for an effective smasher

Yup.  Alternative is a stockpile/minecart dump site 1 z-level above that drops through a chute into the atomsmasher.
