Hello all, im using DF 0.34.07 and i have a problem with the text.

at first the game text is normal. all letters are displayed like they should, but after a while, sertain parts of a character will be missing, and if i play even longer, whole words will be missing, making it hard to read.

ive tried using True Type fonts as well as the default font  (whatever that is) as well as resizing the game window and in-game resizing using the mouse wheel. Nothing seems to help. I tried looking into the bug forum, but my search turned up nothing and it seems i am unable to post there (?)

Does anyone here know of the problem i have and have an idea how to solve it ?

Truetype is known to cause missing text, but that doesn't seem to be your problem.
Do you use a tileset?

yes i am.. good idea.. ill fiddle around with the tileset and see if the problem resolves itself.

There are known issues when using graphic tile sets and TrueType:Yes. It's quite high in the worst bugs poll so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Just hit F12 to toggle True Type Fonts when you have trouble with that.  It should allow you to read most things.

It is an annoying bug though.
