Yep. I'm still here.
And like what I said earlier but was ignored I want to be taken off the dwarfing list. I have better plans.
Wasn't ignoring you I already had you off the dwarfing list so I assumed you wanted off the overseers list. Turns yours.

Okay then, here I go.

My internet might go off, so I might update once for the whole turn and then move on to the next overseer.

Also how do I see time in Fortress Mode?

Sorry about that Flamey. Everything was a bit rushed, and the journals are not really up to par. The village itself, however, is pretty cool by now.

I'd like to be dwarfed again, this time as Austere. I'd be nice with a male Crossbowdwarf.

Download it and copy the folder into Dwarf Fortress\Data\Save.

Did you extract the .rar archive?  You'll need a rar extracting program.  If you're on Windows, I think there's one called Win-rar or something.

I extracted it right into the save folder. It didn't show up on the game.

It is possible to extract it wrong depending on how the extraction program you use is setup.

If it is extracted correctly you should have a folder with this path structure.
Code: [Select]
Dwarf Fortress\data\save\Save Name\raw
not something like this
Code: [Select]
Dwarf Fortress\data\save\Save Name\Another Folder\raw

Some extraction programs will produce the second folder structure by default so you need to look inside the extracted folder to see how it was extracted.
This can also happen if the save is zipped up strangely by someone else.

I just tried and it failed to even extract. It might be a bad download, but it ran and completed normally and without any of the characteristics of a bad download.

Winter, can you extract from your copy of the .rar and see if it works? I have to admit things like this are why I've switched to using 7z file format instead, though not everyone can open it.

I downloaded and extracted the save and it ran fine.

It did extract with the
Code: [Select]
New Murderfarmed/New Murderfarmed/raw
folder structure so that might be Objectives problem.

Nope I downloaded some saves from DDFD so I know how these folders work.

I looked inside the folder after extracting it and it look fine enough.
